About Us

Schull Watersports Centre is a family run business established by Simon
and Angela Nelson in the early 1980s. Originally from the UK, they moved
to the Mizen peninsula for an adventure and change of lifestyle having
worked and traveled extensively in Africa and South America. Simon and
Angela and their children William and Joanna built up the business over
the years providing various watersports activities including sailing,
kayaking, wind surfing and diving. The business has now passed onto
Simon's daughter Joanna and her husband Shaun who are running Schull
Watersports Centre alongside their moorings business.
